No Show Policy
Small businesses that fail to attend a confirmed meeting take the opportunity from
another firm to present its capabilities to the counselors. The VOS Scheduling System will suspend access to meeting requests after two “no shows.” Any firm designated as a no-show will not be able to attend two consecutive VOS for which the firm was previously eligible to attend.
Participants must provide the proper cancellation notice and cancel appointments within the portal 24 hours before the date of the VOS. Failure to cancel properly will designate the firm as a no show. The system will generate an immediate email notification of the cancellation and forward to the counselors and the DHS VOS Program Manager.
