Specialized Socioeconomic Events

Each fiscal year (FY), the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), as part of the Small Business Outreach Program, virtually conducts ten sessions of 15-minute pre-arranged meetings with small businesses. Four of the sessions are exclusively reserved for women-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, small disadvantaged (including 8(a)) and HUBone small businesses. Tutorial

The tutorial is available for creating a profile, editing a profile, requesting meetings, accepting meetings and viewing the dashboard of confirmed meetings.

If firms do not have at least one meeting confirmed, three business days prior to the session, they will not be able to participate in that specific month’s VOS. A notification will be sent to the email included in the small business profile. DHS encourages small businesses to request meetings at a future VOS.
